Amplify Her is a mentorship and life skills program dedicated to empowering young ladies aged 8-18 who are amputees. We provide the tools, support, and guidance necessary to help them develop confidence, independence, and a strong sense of community, demonstrating that their abilities can lead to extraordinary futures.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Pair each participant with a mentor who is also an amputee, fostering relationships based on shared experiences. Mentors provide guidance, encouragement, and practical advice for navigating challenges.

Conduct workshops focused on essential life skills such as financial literacy, communication, goal setting, and personal development. Include training on adaptive technologies and tools to enhance independence in everyday life.

Offer access to counseling and mental health resources, helping participants address emotional challenges. Create a safe space for participants to share their experiences and connect with others facing similar challenges.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

Organize regular meet-ups, online forums, and group activities to foster a supportive network among participants. Encourage storytelling and sharing of experiences to inspire and uplift one another.

EMPOWERMENT THROUGH CREATIVITY

Provide opportunities for self-expression through art, music, writing, and other creative outlets. Showcase participants’ talents through exhibitions, performances, and community events.

ANNUAL SUMMER CAMPS

Host yearly summer camps featuring a variety of events and excursions designed to promote personal growth and community bonding. Activities may include outdoor adventures, team-building exercises, workshops, guest speakers, and fun recreational activities.

GOAL SETTING & ACHIEVEMENT

Assist participants in setting and achieving personal and academic goals, helping them to envision and work towards their futures. Celebrate milestones and accomplishments to build confidence and motivation.
